The bridge is the central component that enables a smart device (phone or tablet) to communicate with Bloc iQ blinds. The bridge also enables smart voice assistants such as Alexa or Google Home to assist in blinds operation.

The Bloc iQ multi-channel remote control can operate up to 15 blinds individually or simultaneously. If you plan to operate your blinds via an app it is always recommended that a remote control is installed as a backup to ensure operation during wifi downtime or when a smart device has been misplaced.

If you struggle with poor wifi in your home it is likely that you will require a repeater to boost signal between your bridge and your Bloc iQ blinds.

All motorised blinds will need to be charged to maintain operation. A Bloc Blinds charger is universal to all Bloc iQ blinds and so one charger can be used in various locations throughout the home.
